The first time you activate the paid Binder, the license key you enter is sent to the MCMLV1 license-verification endpoint and then to Gumroad to confirm that the purchase is valid. Binder contents are not included in that request. After a successful activation, the Binder stores a local entitlement on that device so normal use does not require an internet connection.
Like any website or PWA, the hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information needed to deliver the files, such as an IP address, browser/user-agent information, requested path, and timestamp. The Binder contains no advertising or behavioral analytics.
The Binder uses IndexedDB for the binder itself and browser Cache Storage for the application files. It requests persistent browser storage when supported. Browser/device storage can still be erased by the user, browser settings, device reset, or other exceptional conditions. On iPhone, iPad, and Safari on Mac, the installed web app keeps local storage separate from the ordinary browser tab, so install the Binder before entering important information. If you ever need to move data between browser installations or devices, use Save backup file and Restore from backup. Keep backups somewhere appropriate for sensitive information.
Purchases and license keys are handled by Gumroad under Gumroad's own terms and privacy practices. MCMLV1 LLC may receive the transaction information Gumroad makes available to sellers. That transaction information is separate from the contents you type into the Binder.
The Binder is intentionally designed not to request passwords, PINs, or full account numbers.
